POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides front desk assistance, answer phones and performs other administrative duties to assist the Human Resources Department, including data entry, mail functions, filing, and other projects as assigned. Maintains employee records, answers employee/employment inquiries. Responsible for maintaining job postings, applicant tracking, forward employment applications to hiring managers and process bids. Responsible for the pre-employment process (including background checks, scheduling orientations and filing I9’s). Compiles data for reports regarding Human Resources activities including Workers Compensation and Unemployment claims.
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
(1) High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
(2) Previous HR experience strongly preferred.
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
Must have strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Must be able to handle multiple projects at once without loss of composure. Must be able to follow instructions, work quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment. Must know simple mathematics and have English proficiency. Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Type 45 wpm and proficient in Microsoft Office. Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential. Must be able to set priorities. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.

Motor coordination and manual dexterity for use of computers and other routine office equipment.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
Majority of work is performed indoors, protected from the elements but not necessarily from temperature extremes. Exposure to dust, noise, vibrations, and mechanical/electrical hazards. Environment is frequently hectic and subject to multiple interruptions.
PATIENTS SERVED:
No direct patient care.
