POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides all aspects of nutritional care for both acute and long term care patients.
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
(1) BS from an institution accredited by the American Dietetic Assoc.
Desired:
(1) Previous experience as an RD in a healthcare setting.
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
Minimum:
(1) American Dietetic Association Registration
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
Must be able to follow instructions, work quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment. Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with both patients and staff. Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential. Must be fluent in spoken and written English. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.

Mobility and manual dexterity.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
May be exposed to: Dust, Fumes (Human Waste), Body Fluids, Heat, Cold, Noise, Vibrations. Majority of the work is performed indoors protected from the elements.
PATIENTS SERVED:
This position is responsible for the following age groups of patients: Pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. Includes, but not limited to: Knowledge of differences in nutritional requirements across the lifespan.
