Former Richmond Mayor Irma Anderson will take a seat on the governing board of Doctors Medical Center San Pablo next year. Anderson, who was a public health nurse before she entered politics, is one of three people who filed to run in November for three available seats on the board of the West Contra Costa Healthcare District, making their election a formality. The other two are incumbents Deborah Campbell and Eric Zell. A third incumbent, Dr. Desmond Carson, is not seeking another term.
