Healthcare Scholarships for Local Students

The DMC Service League is pleased to announce that it is currently accepting applications for its
Carol Welch Memorial Scholarship
. Up to seven $1,000 scholarships will be provided in 2007. Since 1958, the DMC Service League has been providing financial assistance to students pursuing higher education leading to careers in a field related to healthcare, nursing or medicine. Applicants are required to be from West Contra Costa County and must have completed the first year of a healthcare program at an accredited university or college; or be an incoming or current nursing or medical program student.
