Doctors Medical Center Receives Grant from Kaiser Permanente

Kaiser Permanente has awarded a $1 million Community Benefit grant to Doctors Medical Center (DMC) to support the organization's replacement to information technology (IT) systems, including a new electronic medical record system. The new systems bring enormous benefits for patients by automating the entire healthcare delivery process. The new systems will put state-of-the-art tools in the hands of physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other clinicians and it will save the hospital money. (Follow link to full press release.)
