DMC Implements Fifteen NEW Information Technology Systems

At 12:01 a.m. this morning, Doctors Medical Center (DMC) successfully completed the first phase of a multi-year $10 million project that replaces fifteen hospital Information Technology (IT) systems, virtually all of the hospital's information systems. The hospital had been leasing its systems from the previous hospital operator under a two-year agreement that ended at midnight last night. The new IT systems are all from McKesson, a Fourtune 16 corporation and the nation's leading healthcare IT organization and healthcare services and information technology company.
