Doctors Medical Center’s (DMC) heart attack response and treatment system has received the nationally recognized STEMI (ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction) System designation by Contra Costa County. The designation, which is critical to the County’s new heart attack response system, alerts paramedics to transport high-risk heart attack victims to a specially equipped hospital, such as Doctors Medical Center in San Pablo.
