Breast Care Center (Bone Density, Mammography, Diagnostic & Breast Screening Services)

The Breast Care Center is an outpatient department within the Regional Cancer Center that provides screenings and diagnostic health services such as DEXA Bone Density screening, mammograms, breast exams and ultrasounds in a caring environment, sensitive to the needs of women.  Many women come to the Breast Care Center for routine screening, but others are referred for diagnostic treatment or as follow-up on an earlier detected breast problem.  Mammograms are performed in a caring and capable manner by a certified mammography x-ray technologist and are reviewed by experienced radiologists.  In addition, the Breast Care Center offers rehabilitation programs for women who have had breast cancer surgery.

Our multidisciplinary team of radiologists, pathologists, surgeons and oncologists work with our nurse practitioners, certified mammography technologist and ultrasonographer in accessing the patient's needs.
