J.C. Robinson, M.D. Regional Cancer Center delivers the compassionate care you want and the advanced research and technology you need. The Commission on Cancer (CoC) of the American College of Surgeons has nationally recognized our Regional Cancer Center as an Accredited Cancer Program with Nine Commendations, an honor only 25% of the hospitals in the U.S. and Puerto Rico have received. This recognition ensures that a patient will receive the gold-standard of care, including quality care, state of the art services and equipment, and committment to positive outcomes. Approval by the CoC must be renewed every three years. We currently offer patients the option to participate in a large array of national clinical trials that are usually offered only at academic medical centers.
The Regional Cancer Center was created with the vision of providing comprehensive cancer treatment for patients and their families, a place to receive all the services and technologies related to their diagnosis and treatment, a place to find support groups and resources, a place committed to the advancement of treatments through clinical trials and research, a place of hope where quality treatment is provided in a modern and highly supportive environment.
The Regional Cancer Center provides all of these services in one location for the convenience of our patients. We envision the Regional Cancer Center with the patient in mind; our goal is to provide comprehensive, compassionate care.
