To ensure the highest quality healthcare for our patients, The Joint Commission conducts periodic unannounced accreditation surveys of Doctors Medical Center San Pablo.
The Joint Commission is an independent, not for profit organization that sets standards for measuring healthcare quality and safety, and the safety of the environment in which that care is provided.
The purpose of the surveys is to evaluate the hospital's compliance with nationally established Joint Commission standards. The survey results will be used to determine whether, and the conditions under which, accreditation should be awarded to the organization.
If you have questions or concerns about care received at Doctors Medical Center San Pablo, you are encouraged to call the hospital's Patient Relations Coordinator at (510) 970-5708.
If your safety or quality concerns are not addressed to your satisfaction, or if you prefer, contact Joint Commission at 1 (800) 994-6610 or via email at complaints@jcaho.org.
The Joint will acknowledge such request in writing or by telephone and will inform the organization of the issue.
This notice is posted in accordance with Joint Commission's recommendations.
