Our treatment team members are drawn from many disciplines: physicians specializing in cancer care, nationally-certified nurses and therapists, technicians, physicists, dosimetrists, nutrition consultants, physical and speech therapists, social workers, chaplains and researchers.

BREAST CARE CENTER
Many women come to the Breast Care Center for routine screening mammograms or are referred to our center for diagnostic services after a suspicious symptom is found, or to follow up a breast problem that is detected through a mammogram. Digital mammography is provided by certified mammography x-ray technologists. A physician’s order is required for screening and diagnostic mammograms. Bone density testing and breast needle localization procedures for surgery are also performed in the Breast Care Center.
LUNG CLINIC
Our Lung Clinic offers “one-stop” services for diagnosing lung cancer. Patients seen in their physicians’ offices or in the Emergency Department who have suspicious diagnostic imaging or physical symptoms that may be cancer have faster access to further tests and imaging all in one place.

THE REEVES RESOURCE LIBRARY
The Reeves Resource Library is available to those who wish to learn more about cancer. The library includes books and videos on cancer-related topics, as well as publications from the National Cancer Institute.

We’re here for you
Confronting cancer is never easy, and so we’re here for you every step of the way—before, during and after cancer treatment. We offer a variety of support groups including ones for newly diagnosed patients and their families, for women fighting breast cancer as well as for the caregivers who devote their time and energy to patients with cancer. Those who are grieving the loss of a loved one can find comfort in a confidential, safe and supportive atmosphere. *Support groups are also available to our Spanish-speaking patients and their families.

Awards, Accreditations, Certifications
The J.C. Robinson, M.D. Regional Cancer Center is accredited by the American Surgeon’s Commission on Cancer (COC), and recently received the COC Cancer Outstanding Achievement Award. National recognition by the COC is an indication that patients will receive the gold standard of care, state of the art services, equipment and that our center maintains a steadfast commitment to positive outcomes.
